Terms of service

Last updated August 2026. Mock Data is operated by Cheek LLC.

The service

Mock Data generates synthetic business datasets that resemble a company’s real systems, and serves them over the Model Context Protocol and a REST API. It is intended for training, evaluation and experimentation.

The data is fictional

Every business record is generated. Nothing served here is a real customer, a real transaction or a real figure. Do not present it as fact, do not make a business decision on the strength of it, and do not represent it as your company’s actual data to anyone.

Vendor names and marks

Vendor names and logos are shown to identify the systems being simulated. Those marks belong to their owners. Mock Data is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them, and no request from this product reaches any of their services.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the product to research or profile companies for harassment or fraud.
  • Do not attempt to reach data belonging to another instance.
  • Do not upload real personal data into an instance.
  • Do not resell access without a written agreement.

Instances and lifetimes

Free instances run for twenty four hours and are then destroyed. Paid instances run while the subscription is current, and may hibernate after a period of inactivity, in which case the schema is kept and the database is released. We may reap instances early if the platform reaches its concurrent capacity, oldest and least used first.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew until cancelled. The Persistent plan includes one free month, offered once per customer, cancellable at any point before it converts. Cancel from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. Enterprise engagements are quoted separately and governed by their own agreement.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranty. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any particular instance survives. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
